Pat Kelly's equine art is currently represented in over 250 corporate and private collections in the United States, South America and France. Her professional involvement in many aspects of the equine world for over 50 years led to her co-authoring the classic, Horse Around the House, for which she did over 200 illustrations and which sold over 200,00 copies worldwide.
"Ever since I studied with Robert Beverley Hale, I have enjoyed figure drawing," she says. "For the past several years, I've expanded the scope of my work to include landscapes and depictions of contemporary life, focusing on people going about their everyday activities-- whether at the beach, the nearby mountains or on city streets."
Pat Kelly studied at the Art Students League in New York and Woodstock as well as the Woodstock School of Art. She has been an active member of the Woodstock Art Association since 1984 and is also a member of the Arts Society of Kingston.

Art can express emotions on a spectrum from serene to frantic, from disturbing to joyous. Sometimes an emotion is the subject matter of a drawing or painting. Sometimes it's the effect produced by a landscape or an abstraction. Don't hold back--express those emotions now!
