A live-art event exploring performance aesthetics of disability and neurodivergence. Including choreography, live projection, and sculpture, Colored Shadow authors a performance map out of the archival charts, graphs, MRIs, and clinical notes connected to the choreographer’s medicalization for brain disease. Colored Shadow as a performance research produces the body as an active site of cultural contestation while prizing open possibilities for all rhythms of neurological expressivity.
